As a Qualified Development Partner of the Wilmington Housing Authority, Blue Ridge Cascade is currently working to rehabilitate Jervay Communities in Wilmington, North Carolina. Originally built in the early 2000s, Jervay sustained incredible damage during Hurricane Florence (2018). BRC is set to renovate the currently existing units as well as construct 86 additional units to serve the community. The residents will also receive new amenities, including a picnic area and playground, community room, business center and outdoor pavilions.

BRC is in the process of applying to NCHFA for 4% LIHTC with tax-exempt bonds issued by the Wilmington Housing Authority. We are securing additional financial support for the project and working to execute a RAD/Section 18 Blend. By partnering with Blue Ridge Cascade, WHA can successfully redevelop the property, retain ownership, and provide property management services.
