Residence at Canopy Pointe is a 55+ senior community in Wilmington, NC, offering one- and two-bedroom homes surrounded by native live oak trees on a nearly 5-acre site. The L-shaped building features a coastal-inspired exterior and is designed to promote comfort, connection, and wellness. Residents enjoy a wide array of amenities, including a fitness center with adaptable equipment, library, computer lab, craft/game room, community room, gazebo, and multiple porches for year-round outdoor enjoyment. Located in a very-low poverty area, the project supports New Hanover County’s fair housing goals.

Financed as a 9% LIHTC project with equity from RBC Capital Markets, additional funds from the City of Wilmington, New Hanover County, RPP funds from NCHFA, CDBG-DR funds from NCHFA, and debt from Bank OZK and Lument.
